The SMU Mustangs will look for their seventh win and a confirmed bowl appearance as they take on the Marshall Thundering Herd this weekend in West Virginia.
After defeating The University of Texas El Paso last weekend and putting them at 6-4 overall and 5-1 in Conference USA, SMU became bowl eligible for the third time since receiving the death penalty in 1987.

June Jones has been given the moniker of a miracle man of sorts based in his success in Hawaii, and it's beginning to look like he still has the touch.
Before becoming head coach at the University of Hawaii in, the football team turned in 18 straight losses including an 0-12 record in the 1998 season.

It's official. The SMU football team is bowl eligible for the fifth time since their last bowl appearance in 1984.
"It's pretty awesome for the kids," head coach June Jones said. "They've worked hard, and they've bought into everything and we find a way to win games and that's because of the chemistry and the attitude in the locker room.

Nike allowed campus bookstore patrons to unlock the vault that housed the new Frog uniform the team will wear Saturday against Utah.
Each patron was given a card with a code that unlocked the vault. Certain codes allowed patrons to win free T-shirts.
The New uniform is a purple top with gray pants and a black helmet.
