    Telephone lines no longer standard in NT dorm rooms

    Cellular phones now replace land lines

    Beginning this semester, student phone lines are no longer standard in dorms, according to NT Housing. Elisabeth Warren, NT housing director, said survey results showed that most residents didn't feel landline phones were necessary in dorm rooms since many students rely on their cell phones to communicate.     Lucky Lou's is crowded every Tuesday night when students flock to the bar for Brewery Night, said bartender Greg Coile.     NT group aims to redefine masculinity

    In the wake of NT student Lorena Sandoval's slaying, in which her boyfriend was charged with murder, campus groups such as Men Against Violence urge male students to join their campaign to end men's violence toward women. MAV is involved in multiple campaigns and programs with the intention to eliminate male violence against women, according to its Web site. (0) comments
