    NT lacks diversity in faculty

    An ordinary day one year ago, Mesquite junior Matt Griffeth was glancing around his upper-level history class when he had a shocking revelation: All of the students in his class were white.     International fair aims to spread cultures

    International Week kicked off with NT's World Cultures Fair and Market offering items from all over the world. The market, held at the Pavilion Concourse Monday, had scores of students, faculty and staff filtering through the items and chatting with the 13 vendors peddling goods from India, China, Turkey, Taiwan, Africa and Mexico, among others.     Gay, lesbian pride associations team up for prom

    High heels, big hair and couples' photos are not limited to high school prom night. The Gay and Lesbian Alliance of Denton and TWU Pride hosted their Carnevale-themed prom Saturday at the University Union's Silver Eagle Suite. Between 150 and 200 people attended, said Hector E. (0) comments

    The Indian-Pakistani Student Associations of NT and Texas Women's University came together Saturday evening to present their Dhadkan cultural talent show. Dhadkan, which means "heartbeat" in Hindi, is a show dedicated to and performed by students of South Asian heritage. (0) comments
