Coach Jim Bob Jackson characterizes this year's UNT men's golf team with two words: young and talented. Last year the UNT volleyball team ended its season 12-21, making it to the Sun Belt Conference tournament in Denver. With only four returning women, the team still has hopes of making it to this year's tournament in Miami. The season starts with the 16th Mean Green Classic on Aug. (0) comments
The pre-season opener on Aug. 16 at Texas Tech will be a big game and a good measuring tool for the North Texas women's soccer team for the upcoming season. A six-game stretch will follow up at home for the Mean Green, which in the past has been a huge advantage. (0) comments
Intramural sports at UNT are a long-standing tradition among college students who choose not to participate in varsity sports. The intramural program allows students the opportunity to play sports with friendly competition. The sports for students to choose from range from water polo to outdoor soccer to softball.
