    Students pitch in to help hurricane evacuees at Coliseum

    Nearly 283 NT students headed to school early Monday morning to help set up a temporary shelter for Hurricane Gustav evacuees. Students poured into the NT Coliseum this morning, Cara Leising, a Denton County American Red Cross volunteer said. "All the students were very energetic and ready to get their tasks," Leising said.     UNT Art Gallery A Place in the Painting Continuum, featuring artists Brain Fridge, Jin Ya Huang and Derrick Sanders, began Aug. 26 and will end Sept. 27. The artists will have a question and answer session from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 18 in the UNT Art Gallery.
