The deadline to register to vote in the November elections is looming: The last day is Monday, Oct. 6. Denton County residents can start voting early at 8 a.m. Oct. 20 through Oct. 31. The American Humanics Student Association, the department of political science and the American Democracy Project kicked off a five-week challenge at the annual College of Public Affairs and Community Service Fall Forum to encourage student organizations to assist in collecting school supplies.
