Last week, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences disqualified James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer's score for "The Dark Knight" from Oscar consideration. Its reason? Too many people helped them out. While music editor Alex Gibson, ambient music designer Mel Wesson and composer Lorne Balfe all signed an affidavit saying Howard and Zimmer did most of the work (over 60 percent), apparently that did not keep the committee from ruling them ineligible. "Animal Crossing" fans nationwide rejoice with the release of "Animal Crossing: City Folk" for the Nintendo Wii. The game is clearly an extension and Wii-invention of the Nintendo DS title, "Animal Crossing: Wild World."
