A UNT staff member reported stolen books at the University Union Bookstore. An officer responded and an offense report was completed.

A cab driver reported that non-student Terrance Dunn, 48, refused to pay his cab fare. Officers responded to the situation. Dunn was intoxicated, arrested and transported to the Denton City Jail.
An officer initiated a traffic stop on 600 South Welch St. The driver, business sophomore James Sherman Weisz Jr., was driving under the influence of alcohol. The passenger, non-student Willie Wright, was wanted by the Denton Police Department. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Denton City Jail.

An officer initiated a traffic stop in the 900 block of Ave C. The driver, Jose DeLaCruz-Vargas, was wanted by the Department of Homeland Security and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. He was arrested and transported to the Denton County Jail.

An officer initiated a traffic stop on the 2100 block of West Prairie Street. The driver, non-student Julio Mejia, 22, was intoxicated and was arrested and transported to the Denton County Jail.
